Starting the warmup process is an important first step, but it's equally crucial to understand what happens after you initiate warmup on Mailivery.

This article will guide you through the different stages and aspects of Mailivery’s warmup process, so you know exactly what to expect, and can effectively monitor your progress.

Receiving Warmup Emails

Once you’ve adjusted your sending settings and clicked the ‘Start Sending Emails’ button, Mailivery’s warmup process will begin.

Depending on your preferred settings, you'll start receiving warmup emails in your inbox (which will automatically be archived to a dedicated folder after some time)

Mailivery’s warmup emails are crafted to resemble typical sales or marketing emails in terms of content and structure. As a result, you might initially mistake these warmup emails for regular cold emails landing in your inbox.

However, Mailivery warmup emails can be easily identified through the presence of filters IDs. Each connected warmup mailbox has a designated filter ID that appears on every warmup email being sent to your mailbox. Regular cold emails, not originating from Mailivery, will not contain this filter ID.

Ramp-up Process (if enabled)

Mailivery offers a ramp-up feature that allows users to gradually increase their warmup email sends to their target volume. Users can choose to toggle this setting on or off based on their preference. This can be applicable to any number of email sends though highly suggested for those dealing with high volume.

Depending on your chosen ramp-up speed, the number of emails increases by a small random percentage across the span of a specific timeframe. Our formula uses random ranges of numbers to mimic natural human interaction, resulting in an organic pacing that feels natural to receiving servers.

Dashboard Reports

Each connected warmup mailbox has a dedicated dashboard providing an overview of the warmup progress. This allows you to monitor the current status and make any necessary adjustments.

  • 14 Day Warmup Report: This shows an overview of your warmup emails sent in the past 7 days and those scheduled to be sent in the next 7 days.
  • Last 14 Days Report: This shows the number of total emails sent to the primary inbox and the number of total emails Mailivery saved from being in spam and/or other categories just within the last 14 days of warmup.
  • Global Report: This shows the number of total emails sent to the primary inbox and the number of total emails Mailivery saved from being in spam and/or other categories throughout your whole warmup campaign.
