Understanding the different statuses displayed for your connected warmup mailboxes on Mailivery is crucial for monitoring the progress and ensuring a successful email warmup process.
After successfully connecting your mailbox for warmup, you may notice the columns labeled “Status” and “DNS Status” on your dashboard. Each of these allows you to easily keep track of your warmup mailbox' current standing.
Status
This column refers to the current standing of your connected mailbox on Mailivery. This is your general indicator of warmup, whether it is running or not. Mailivery users can manually toggle the status of their connected mailboxes in their respective account settings.
Active
This status indicates that your connected mailbox is actively sending and receiving warmup emails on Mailivery, and the warmup process is running smoothly.
Ramp Up Active
Another potential status you may encounter under this column is the “Ramp Up Active” status. This status indicates that your connected mailbox has ramp-up enabled and is actively running on Mailivery.

Paused or Pending
This status indicates that your connected mailbox is neither receiving nor sending out warmup emails on Mailivery. When this is displayed, the warmup process is temporarily halted but can be resumed at any time.
NOTE: Newly added emails display a ‘Paused’ or ‘Pending’ status by default.

Connection Problems
This status indicates that there is an issue with your previously connected warmup mailbox. Depending on your setup, it may either be an SMTP/IMAP connection issue or due to incorrect or lack of proper DNS or MX records.
DNS Status
This column refers to your connected mailbox' general health. Since the indicated status is dependent on your mailbox' set up, this can only be updated through backend settings of your mailbox, server or domain—not through Mailivery.
Green
A green DNS status is the desired state, indicating that all three of your email authentication protocols and DNS settings (SPF, DMARC, and MX Records) are valid and active. With this status, the warmup process will continue to run smoothly.
Yellow
A yellow DNS status means that at least one of your email authentication protocols or DNS settings (SPF, DMARC, or MX Records) is invalid or non-existent. However, as long as your MX Records are active and correctly configured, the warmup process will continue to run.

Red
A red DNS status indicates that all three of your email authentication protocols and DNS settings (SPF, DMARC, and MX Records) are either invalid or non-existent. With this status, the warmup process will be unable to run.
Understanding the different status indicators for your connected warmup mailboxes allows you to effectively monitor your warmup mailboxes. Staying informed of these statuses is crucial for a successful mailbox warmup experience on Mailivery.
