How to Create an App Password for Yahoo Mailbox

In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple process of creating a dedicated app password for your Yahoo mailbox. By following these steps, you’ll be able to securely connect your Yahoo mailbox to Mailivery, allowing you to manage your email communications while maintaining the utmost account security.

Step 1: Manage Account Settings

Sign in and go to your account security page by clicking on "Manage your account" while hovering on your account icon. 

Step 2: Access Security Settings

Go to the "Security" tab. 

Step 3: Access Account App Password

Scroll down to "Account Access" and under "App Password", click on "Generate app password".

Step 4: Generate App Password

Under the "Enter your app's name" prompt, enter the custom name "Mailivery" then click the “Generate password” button.

You have now successfully created an app password for your Yahoo mailbox for Mailivery. When prompted during the mailbox connection process, use this dedicated app password to add in your Yahoo mailbox for warmup campaigns.
